Kevin Maguire

Kevin Maguire started his hockey career playing with the Junior A team Orillia Travelways. In 1984 he signed as a free agent with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Maguire established himself as a hard-nosed, checker who would cause havoc in front of the enemy's net. Upon retirement, Maguire left his skates on to pursue a career as a referee. After an apprenticeship in the AHL and the IHL, he made it to the NHL in 1999.
