Doug Gilmour

This Kingston native had an amazing OHL career which captured the attention of the St. Louis Blues who went on to draft him. During his time with the blues his teammates nicknamed him the “killer” for his intensity. Gilmour was traded to Calgary where he played a big role in helping Calgary capture the 1989 Stanley Cup. He was then traded to Toronto in the 91-92 season where he played his best hockey. This pesky defensive forward quickly became a fan favourite in Toronto and is one of the most loved leaf players of all time. Gilmour played for 7 different NHL teams and record over 1400 points.
