Live Blog: 2013 Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer's Captains Event
There are 36 teams competing in the upcoming 2013 Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer's with one goal in mind -- to emerge victorious, both on and off the ice, by helping to raise money for this great cause. Last year's event raised an incredible $2.3 million in support of Baycrest in Toronto, and this year's captains are ready to do their part for Alzheimer's research. And with the 2013 Pro-Am just one month away, the teams' captains are assembling at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto for an appreciation night with members of the NHL alumni, including a skate with some of their hockey heroes on the former Maple Leaf Gardens ice.
